MING LI Astrology Charts are computer generated and include the Phase (Element) and Animal of the Year, Month, Day, and Hour of Birth, and much more. For professional astrologers, these charts ensure accuracy and save many hours of research and calculation. For students of astrology, they provide a practical and comprehensive base for learning about Chinese Astrology through deeper understanding of your own nature. For users of the MING LI TONG SHU Date-Book, they present a chart of your own Time of Birth paralleling the daily listings in the Date-Book, in identical terminology, and similar layout, which can greatly enhance your use and understanding of the Chinese Almanac. Here is an example of a personal chart:

The Twelve Animals of Chinese Astrology are just one of a number of systems from Chinese tradition, which concern subject more broadly and correctly called MING LI or "Fate Calculation". MING (written with a character originally meaning "orders", is seen as the expression or command of Heaven placing each individual, each event, in its proper relationship with the entire cosmos. Each technique for calculating MING is viewed as rendering a map or diagram of the "Orders of Heaven" for the turning of events in time, or the lives of individuals on Earth.

MING LI Astrology Charts contain a wide range of traditional systems used in China for centuries. Some of these systems are devoted to the considerations of XING (basic nature) and indicate personal character from several different points of view. The systems shown include: Lunar Date, Stems-and-Branches, Lunar Lodge (YUE XU), Solar Index, Nine-Star Numbers, Five-Phases (MING SHU), Inner and Outer Phases, and of course, the Twelve Animals.

The Ming Li Chart also includes the ZI WEI (Pole Star) system, used to consider MING specifically. Of great reputation in China, the ZI WEI system gives an authoritative view of the texture of an individual life, its obstructions and potentials, and is regarded as a definitive tool for recognizing Self-Nature, harboring energy, developing personal intelligence, and fostering longevity. The ZI WEI system shows the 12 Palaces, 37 Major and Minor Stars (in resident and borrowed positions), their Auspices and Degrees of Influence, and the cycles of Greater Limit and Lesser Limit.

The full range of systems is clearly arranged on a single letter-size sheet, printed in red and black, with the individual's name appearing prominently in the top center of the Chart. Each Chart comes in a clear plastic protective sleeve, and will be sent (unfolded) in a bright red envelope. The Charts are attractive on display, and make intriguing gifts. Delivery is via US mail, Express mail (overnight) by request.

Charts are $25.00 per person. This includes 2 copies, one for the client and one for the person doing the reading. Add $1.00 postage (Express mail $12.75) and $1.94 CA sales tax (if applicable). If your birth-time is approximate, or on the cusp of an hour, additional charts are $5.00 each.
